Sustainability

For the environment

We are the first sky lantern event inviting people to experience eco-friendly sky lanterns. When we make a wish, our sky lanterns fully combust and disintegrate in the sky, leaving behind zero waste.

For the local area

We have teamed up with Smile Taiwan, a local magazine that shares many beautiful stories about things going on in Taiwan. A special edition of their 2019 summer issue will be published ahead of the event, telling the stories of many great local brands.

For future generations

We will be offering public transportation to reduce the amount of private vehicles coming into Pingxi. We will also donate part of the event revenue towards a tree planting fund to help offset the carbon emissions produced from the burning of the lanterns.
